The starting pay range for this position is $28.74-$38.85 hourly

The State of New Hampshire, Department of Health and Human Services, Bureau of Emergency Preparedness, Response, and Recovery has a part time vacancy for Grants Manager.
SUMMARY:
Plans, develops, and coordinates the COVID-19 Public Health Crisis Response (PHCR) Workforce Development (WFD) cooperative agreement. The WFD grant focuses on activities that ensure a robust, well-trained public health workforce to allow New Hampshire to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and other major public health threats via enhanced staffing, training, education, and local and school-based investment and programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares and submits the WFD grant within established deadlines including progress reports, budgets, performance measures, and work plan activities. This includes working with other staff to collect and enter grant-related data and information in online grant reporting systems.
Explains and interprets WFD grant program policies, standard operating procedures for program management purposes, and reviews technical literature and resources to assure up-to-date knowledge base.
Coordinates the major stakeholders in the Workforce grant and related meetings and evaluates and provides recommendations with approaches for performance management and staffing plans that are in alignment with grant requirements.
Reviews, modifies, and implements policies and procedures for program operations as a result of results found in reporting, or parameters of the grant, law, and regulation.
Participates in development of budgets and prepares periodic statistical and narrative reports on programs.
Establishes grant-related contracts and conducts contract monitoring visits with external stakeholders to ensure scope of service activities align and are being accomplished in compliance with grant requirements.
Provides educational presentations as they relate to the Workforce grant and related project and programs to internal and external partners, as requested.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Master's degree from a recognized college or university. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
Experience: Four years' professional experience in government or government-related grants, projects, emergency management, or program management, requiring expertise in grant or program management, with responsibilities in program research, planning, monitoring, and evaluation

Education: Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university
Experience: Five years' professional experience in government or government-related grants, projects, emergency management, or program management, requiring expertise in grant or program management, with responsibilities in program research, planning, monitoring, and evaluation. Each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
License/Certification: Eligibility for NH driver's license and/or access to transportation for statewide travel
